March in Ramallah to express gratitude to those supporting Palestine

Aug. 2, 2014 8:31 P.M. (Updated: Aug. 2, 2014 8:31 P.M.)
RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Dozens of Palestinians participated in a march in Ramallah to express their gratitude to countries supporting Palestinians against the Israeli offensive on Gaza.

Participants held the flags of countries that supported Palestine politically or with humanitarian aid, especially South America countries as well as several European, Asian and African countries.

Earlier in the week, Bolivia declared Israel a "terrorist state" and ended visa-free travel for Israelis, while other leftwing Latin American states have taken strong stands as well.

Member of the leftist Palestinian People's Party politburo Issam Bukra highlighted that the main goal of this march was "to express the gratitude of Palestinians for countries that supported us against the Israeli offensive on Gaza."
