GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Palestinian militant groups claimed responsibility for rocket attacks and mortars from Gaza targeting Israeli military forces and cities on Wednesday, as the Israeli military admitted at least three soldiers had been killed during the day so far.
The al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for targeting military groups in eastern central Gaza with five 120 mortar shells and military groups in eastern al-Tuffah with right mortar shells.
The Hamas-affiliated Brigades claimed responsibility for bombing a building with Israeli special forces inside in al-Farrahin area in eastern Khan Younis, targeting a gathering of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers at al-Swarni hill, eastern al-Tuffah, and eastern Jabaliya with sixteen mortar shells.
Al-Quds Brigades bombed a house with Israeli forces inside in eastern Khan Younis.
The Brigades targeted Ashdod with a grad missile, Kiryat Gat with grad missiles, Nahal Oz with six mortar shells, and Netivot with two grad missiles.
The National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, said that they targeted Kisufim military site with two 120 mortar shells and an RPG shell.
The Brigades claimed responsibility for clashing with Israeli forces in a gun fight.
The Brigades also said they targeted Sufa military site with two 107-rockets, Shaar HaNegev with two 107-rockets, and targeting an Israeli soldier in eastern al-Mughazi while he was trying to get out of his tank.
The military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades claimed responsibility for targeting Beersheba with two rockets, and clashing with Israeli soldiers in al-Qarara in eastern Khan Younis.
Al-Aqsa Brigades claimed responsibility for firing seven rockets at Israeli cities and eight 120 mortar shells at Israeli tanks, as well as targeting an Israeli military site with two grad missiles.
