NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Five Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli forces in Nablus early Tuesday, medical sources said.

Medics told Ma'an that five young Palestinians were injured by live bullets fired by Israeli soldiers in Askar refugee camp in eastern Nablus.

The injured were taken by Red Crescent ambulances and private cars to hospital.

One of the injured Palestinians was identified as Riyad Diebes, 22.

An Israeli army spokeswoman did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
