Hamas, Jihad armed wings claim missile attacks

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for targeting an Israeli city in eastern Jabaliya on Monday.

The brigades targeted Haifa with an R160 missile, Tel Aviv with four M75 missiles and Ashdod with 15 al-Qassam missiles, representatives of the group said.

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, declared that its operatives would keep targeting Israeli cities and settlements with missiles and shells.

The brigades targeted Sderot with three 107 missiles, Kissufim with two 107 missiles, the Megan military site with three mortar shells, Ashkol with eight C8K missiles and Kerem Shalom with two 107 missiles.

The brigades targeted Israeli forces with two mortar shells in Beit Hanoun.
