Haniyeh: Israeli forces 'defeated' on Gaza border

July 21, 2014 4:46 P.M. (Updated: July 21, 2014 4:46 P.M.)
GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – Deputy chief of Hamas' politburo Ismail Haniyeh said Monday that Israeli forces were being defeated by the Palestinian resistance at the Gaza border.

In a statement, Haniyeh said the “Palestinian resistance will meet the demands and expectations of the Palestinian people.”

He added that the stipulations set by resistance were the minimum demands for any truce.

“Our people’s sacrifices are headed to triumph,” he said.
