Qassam brigades claim rocket, mortar fire at southern Israel

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Hamas' military wing on Monday claimed responsibility for targeting an Israeli tank with missiles and firing rockets and mortar shells at southern Israel.

The al-Qassam Brigades said they fired rocket-propelled grenades at an Israeli tank in the al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City and an Israeli troop carrier in Beit Hanoun.

The group also said it fired four 107 rockets, five Qassam rockets and two mortar shells at Sderot and five 107 rockets and five mortar shells at Yad Mordechai kibbutz.

The al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the PRC, claimed it fired two 107 rockets at southern Israel and two grad missiles at Netivot.

The National Resistance Brigades, the armed wing of the DFLP, said it fired eleven 107 rockets, two grad missiles and six RPG shells at Israeli military vehicles.
