Report: Saudi to donate $53 million to Red Crescent

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (Ma'an) -- King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has issued a directive to provide the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza with $53 million, Saudi media reported.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that Finance Minister Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf said that the directive has allocated this amount for immediate needs of medicines and medical equipment and supplies necessary to treat the victims of the Israeli attacks against the Gaza Strip.
