9 injured in overnight Bethlehem clashes

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Nine youths were injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers near Rachel's Tomb overnight Thursday.

Tariq Jawarish, 22, was hit in the foot with live fire and nine Palestinians suffered tear gas inhalation.

Two youths were hit with rubber-coated steel bullets.

Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters, rubber-coated steel bullets, and skunk water at a march protesting Israel's ongoing assault on the Gaza Strip, which has killed over 90 Palestinians.
