JERUSALEM (AFP) -- A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip was intercepted over the Israeli coastal city of Tel Aviv on Thursday morning, the military said, revising the number down from two.

In the Gaza Strip, the armed wing of the Hamas movement claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it had fired two "M75" rockets at Tel Aviv.
