Clashes erupt in Hebron and Beit Kahil

June 20, 2014 10:51 P.M. (Updated: June 22, 2014 2:37 P.M.)
HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces in the city of Hebron and in Beit Kahil town in the northern Hebron district on Friday.

Local sources told Ma'an that Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil.

Israeli forces blocked Wadi al-Kaff road, between Beit Kahil and the town of Tarqumiya, with a military barrier.

Meanwhile, clashes erupted in the Bab al-Zawiya area in central Hebron where youths threw rocks at a military point at the entrance of al-Shuhadaa street.

Soldiers responded by shooting rubber-coated steel bullets and tear-gas canisters.
