4 Palestinians killed in road accident near Ramallah

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) -- Four Palestinians were killed and eight were injured in a road accident Saturday morning in the central West Bank town of Nilin west of Ramallah, medical and security sources told Ma’an.

Three of the victims are from the Ramallah-area village of Shuqba including a woman, man and teenage boy. They were identified as 51-year-old Zeinab Qadah, a 24-year-old Thaer Qadah and 13-year-old Issa Qadah. The fourth victim was Yazan Khawaja from Nilin aged 19, according to Palestinian medical sources in Ramallah Medical Complex.

Eight people were evacuated to Palestinian and Israeli hospitals after they sustained injuries. At least one is believed to have sustained serious injuries, according to Palestinian security sources.

According to a report by Palestinian police, two private vehicles collided near Nilin park. Firefighters of Ramallah and Nilin civil defense stations hurried to the area and evacuated the passengers who were caught inside the damaged vehicles.
