HEBRON (Ma’an) – Israeli forces worked on expanding the areas surrounding a military tower at the entrance of Beit Ummar town in Hebron on Monday, activists said.

Spokesperson of the local popular committee Muhammad Ayyad said that Israeli forces were tightening the town’s entrance by putting cement blocks at the entrance to expand the area around their military tower by 15 meters.

He said this caused heavy traffic on the main road between Hebron and Bethlehem.
