Israeli forces demolish Palestinian house near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) – Israeli forces demolished on Monday a small Palestinian house in the village of Wadi Rahhal to the southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

The owner of the house told Ma’an that it consisted of one room in addition to a kitchen and a bathroom.

Majid Abu Srour added that the Israeli troops said the house was demolished because it was built without a license.

He highlighted that he received a warrant from the Israeli forces a month ago notifying him that his house has been built without a license.

Abu Srour is the director of liaison office at the Palestinian side of the Allenby Bridge crossing between the West Bank and Jordan.
