Police investigating death of Ramallah-area teen

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- A teenage boy died early Tuesday on his way to a Ramallah hospital, security sources said.

Palestinian security sources told Ma'an police were investigating the death of 17-year-old Abd al-Jabir Ismail Abu Safiyya from Beit Sira west of Ramallah.

Signs of "torture and electric shock" were found on Abu Safiyya's body, the sources said.
