HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Wednesday raided a prep school in Hebron and fired tear gas on school grounds, witnesses told Ma'an.
Israeli soldiers erected an encampment in the schoolyard of al-Mutanabby preparatory in southern Hebron and raised the Israeli flag on top of the school, locals said.
Israeli troops also fired what witnesses called "excessive" amounts of tear gas on school grounds, lightly injuring several students.
Separately, clashes broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian school children in Tari Ibn Ziad street in Hebron. The circumstances behind the clashes were unclear.
