Israeli court extends detention of 5 lawyers

JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- An Israeli court on Tuesday extended the detention of five Palestinian lawyers from Jerusalem until Thursday.

The detentions of Shireen Issawi, Amr Iskafi, Nadim Gharib, Mahmoud Abu Sneineh and Amjad al-Safadi were extended after they were arrested last month.

Their charges are confidential.
