PA arrests 'armed gang' in Hebron

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian Authority security forces in Hebron reportedly detained members of the "Ghlees" armed gang in Hebron during a campaign taking place over the last couple of days, a security official told Ma'an.

The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that the suspected gang members worked in selling weapons. he added that they are suspected of opening fire at the intelligence office two years ago, and of attempting to run over a Palestinian police officer.
