Man shot in the eye during clashes near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian man was injured on Friday during clashes in the Bethlehem-area village of Tuqu.

Mohammad Jamal Sabah, 22, was shot in the eye with a rubber-coated steel bullet and taken to a hospital in Bethlehem for treatment.

An Israeli army spokesperson said they were looking into the incident.
