Ma'an Network wins Federation of Arab Producers award

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) – A documentary film produced by Ma’an Network has won the Federation of Arab Producers’ award for distinguished TV production.

Directed by Muhammad Fawzi Ghanayim, “Why Me?” was selected as a distinguished production during the second version of the Arab Radio and Television Mondial held in Cairo Dec. 22-25.

The four-day-session showcased more than 300 TV and radio productions from more than 15 Arab countries. Egyptian minister of tourism Hisham Zazou and president of the Federation of Arab Producers Ibrahim Zekry inaugurated the Mondial on Sunday.

Member of Ma’an Network’s board of directors Saad al-Arouri and director of the Network’s satellite station Muhammad Faraj represented Ma’an at the Mondial.

President of the Federation of Arab Producers Ibrahim Abu Zekry handed the trophy of distinguished production to Ma’an representatives.

The Cairo Mondial adopted the slogan of “One homeland … One media … We all love Egypt.”
