Israeli forces detain group of journalists at checkpoint

Dec. 5, 2013 12:07 A.M. (Updated: Dec. 5, 2013 12:07 A.M.)
RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Wednesday detained a group of journalists and journalism students from Birzeit University at Huwarra checkpoint south of Nablus.

They were in a bus heading to Ramallah after they completed a tour in the valley to report on the hardships people suffer there.

Israeli forces assaulted a number of them, forced them to leave the bus, and left them stranded in the cold for two hours as they thoroughly searched the bus.
