2 Palestinian men killed in accident in Hebron

HEBRON (Ma’an) – Two Palestinian men were killed and three others were injured in a serious road accident near the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba east of Hebron Friday evening.

Sources in the Red Crescent ambulance service told Ma’an that 20-year-old Muhammad Tarrad Musallam and 27-year-old Muhammad Khalil Harahsha were killed in the accident.

Hani Abu Sbeih, a taxi driver involved in the accident, sustained critical wounds. Meanwhile, Osamah al-Khodour and his brother Nasim sustained minor injuries. They were evacuated to al-Mizan hospital in Hebron.

A statement by the Palestinian civil defense service highlighted that a private car and a taxi collided near Kiryat Arba. Firefighters from Yatta's civil defense helped rescue trapped passengers.
