Woman killed in Beit Ummar family clash

HEBRON (Ma’an) -- A woman died during a clash late Friday between two families in Beit Ummar north of Hebron in the West Bank, a local activist said.

The victim was taken to Al-Mizan hospital, said Muhammad Awad.

Helwa Mahmoud Abu Daya, 75, was killed and others were injured.

Police said the public prosecutor had opened an investigation.
