Fire breaks out in courtyard of Hebron police station

Oct. 3, 2013 10:44 A.M. (Updated: Oct. 3, 2013 10:44 A.M.)
HEBRON (Ma'an) -- A fire broke out in the courtyard of a police station in Hebron on Thursday, witnesses said.

Locals told Ma'an that several "illegal vehicles" parked in the yard caught fire, before firefighters managed to control the blaze.

Palestinian Authority police carry out regular campaigns against drivers who use vehicles with Israeli number plates, as in many cases the vehicles are stolen or do not have a license approved by the PA ministry of transportation.
