CAESAREA (Ma'an) – A Palestinian woman was critically hurt Sunday morning in an accident at her work place in an industrial zone in Caesarea in central Israel.

A Ma'an reporter said the 19-year-old from Kafr Qara in northern Israel was trying to enter a factory where she works when an electronic gate suddenly shut down and hit her.

Paramedics offered the victim first aid before they evacuated her to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

Israeli police launched an investigation into the accident.
