Israeli forces arrest cancer patient

Sept. 3, 2013 8:51 P.M. (Updated: Sept. 4, 2013 2:26 P.M.)
JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- An Israeli undercover unit arrested on Tuesday a man who suffers from cancer in Abu Dis village east of Jerusalem.

Huthaifa Bader, 22, was arrested after Israeli forces entered the village in a truck and a car with Palestinian license plates. They surrounded the building he lived in before an army vehicle arrived to assist in the arrest, witnesses said.

Israeli forces attempted to arrest Bader several times before but failed, a relative said.

Bader suffers from cancer and needs constant medical care, his relative added.
