Israeli forces raid village after gunfire targets settler car

NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces raided a Nablus village late Sunday and closed a main checkpoint after a settler car came under gunfire, locals said.

Israeli soldiers raided the village of Beta and closed Huwwara checkpoint after reports of gunfire targeting a settler car in the area. Israeli forces fired flare bombs and live bullets, witnesses said.

Locals said a settler was wounded in the shooting.
