Aug. 28, 2013 6:57 P.M. (Updated: Aug. 28, 2013 10:08 P.M.)
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Fatah official Taysir al-Bardini on Wednesday called for an end to Hamas' detentions of Fatah leaders in Gaza.

Al-Bardini called on officials to work to end the detention and summons of Fatah leaders in Gaza, which he said violated human rights laws and public freedoms.

He urged all factions to work toward reconciliation and the release of political prisoners.

Fatah leaders Abdul Aziz al-Maqadmeh, Khalil Abu Hasneh, Mahmoud Hussain and Salah al-Ewisi are in detention in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.
