Man dies of electric shock in Jenin village

JENIN (Ma’an) – A young man died of electric shock Wednesday morning at a construction site in the northern West Bank village of Beit Qad east of Jenin.

Director of Civil Defense services in Jenin Sami Hamdan told Ma’an that 22-year-old Ahmad Nassar from Beit Qad died immediately following an electric shock at work.

Hamdan highlighted that Civil Defense teams and an engineer from the electricity company headed to the construction site to investigate the accident and prepare a report to be used by police in investigations.
