Egyptian FM to visit Ramallah for talks

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Egyptian foreign minister Nabil Fahmy is due to visit Ramallah on Monday for bi-lateral talks with President Abbas.

Egyptian Ambassador to Ramallah, Yasser Othman, told Ma'an that the recently appointed interim foreign minister will meet Abbas to thank the PA for supporting the position of the Egyptian people.

The officials will also discuss political reconciliation with Hamas and lifting the blockade on Gaza.
