Clashes in Nablus area village, dozens hurt by tear gas

NABLUS (Ma’an) – Dozens of Palestinians were hurt by tear gas fired heavily by Israeli troops during confrontations with young Palestinian men in the northern West Bank village of Iraq Burin Monday afternoon, according to a Palestinian official.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official based in Nablus who monitors settler activities in the northern West Bank, told Ma’an that Israeli soldiers fired tear-gas canisters and stun grenades at demonstrators and inside the village’s alleys.

As a result, he said, dozens were hurt.
