2 drown off Gaza coast

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Two young men drowned off the coast of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, medics said.

Rescue workers searched for Jamil Mkhaimar, 20, and Ibrahim al-Khatib, 22, for several hours before finding their bodies in the water.

The bodies were taken to the Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah.
