Report: 2 Israeli soldiers injured in attack

TEL AVIV, Israel (Ma'an) -- Two Israeli soldiers were attacked with clubs in northern Israel on Sunday, Israeli news site Ynet reported.

Both soldiers suffered head injuries and were taken to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.

The circumstances behind the event are unclear, although the Hebrew website of Israel's police site said the perpetrators were thought to be Palestinian.
