GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The family of a 23-year-old man who went missing three days ago from his home in the central Gaza Strip appealed to the public for information on Sunday.

Mahmoud Khalil Mahmoud al-Aloul al-Hifawi was last seen leaving the family home in the Bureij refugee camp on Thursday evening, wearing jeans and a green shirt, relatives said.

The family said they had tried to call Mahmoud several times but that his mobile phone has been switched off since he went missing.

Mahmoud has no psychological conditions nor are there any family problems, the relatives added.

Relatives said they received assurances from the police that they are looking for Mahmoud.
