3 minors among detained by Israel in Hebron village

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained four Palestinians near the Tarqumiya crossing in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, a Beit Ummar committee against the Wall spokesman said.

Mohammad Awwad said Bilal Mahmoud Awwad, 17, Mohammad Sidqi Ikhlayel, 17, Issa Ibrahim Ikhlayel, 15, and Mohammad Adi, 18, were taken for questioning at an Israeli police station.

All four are from the Beit Ummar village.

An Israeli military spokesman said there were four detentions in the Hebron district overnight.

Meanwhile, the army spokesman said two other Palestinians were detained overnight.
