Cabinet to form committees for development

June 26, 2013 8:55 P.M. (Updated: June 27, 2013 4:48 P.M.)
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian Authority cabinet has formed committees to form plans to ease the daily lives of Palestinians, a government spokesman said Tuesday.

The committees will meet with experts in different areas like health, education, economy, and finance. The committees were devised per caretaker prime minister Rami Hamdallah’s request, Ehab Bessaiso said.

“The prime minister has ordered ministers to achieve the plans as soon as possible, without setting a timeframe,” Bessaiso told Ma’an. “But it won’t take longer than weeks or months”.

He said that Hamdallah was touring the West Bank to identify the problems people face, in order to find solutions for them. Bessaiso acknowledged that many Palestinian facilities needed repair.
