Bethlehem prisoner on hunger strike

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian prisoner from Bethlehem announced Monday that he was on hunger strike, the Palestinian Prisoners' Society said.

Ahmad Hamdan, 23, will be joining his brother Ayman on the hunger strike, which he began on 28 April.

Ahmad is currently being held under administrative detention.

There are 24 prisoners on hunger strike, the society said.
