NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Undercover Israeli forces raided the Old City of Nablus early Monday morning and detained two Fatah affiliates, locals told Ma'an.

Forces surrounded the Hosh al-Hitan area in the Old City and deployed heavily in the area.

After 30 minutes, forces detained Fadi Nayif Abu Sharik, 27, whose father is a leader of the Fatah military wing the Al-Aqsa Brigades, as well as Muntaser Bilal Akoubeh, 20.

An Israeli military spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
