Gunmen shoot, injure restaurant worker in Tulkarem

TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- Two gunmen shot and injured a restaurant worker in Tulkarem on Saturday, police said.

Gunmen entered a restaurant in the northern West Bank city and shot Hayati Salamah, 26, in the leg. He was taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.

Police say they are aware of the identity of the suspects and have opened an investigation into the case.
