BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Settlers prevented Palestinian villagers from accessing their land near Yatta on Saturday, locals said.

Witnesses told Ma'an that Palestinian shepherds were prevented from grazing their sheep near Khirbet Umm al-Khair.

Clashes broke out between settlers and Palestinian shepherds, with Israeli forces arriving at the scene and arresting Suleiman Eid, 55, before declaring the area a closed military zone.
