May 28, 2013 4:15 P.M. (Updated: May 29, 2013 3:55 P.M.)
JERUSALEM (Ma'an) – Israeli forces on Tuesday detained an 8-year-old from Silwan in Jerusalem, an activist group said.

Wadi Hilweh information center director Jawad Siyam said Seif Rweidi was walking with his brother when an Israeli jeep stopped and three police officers seized the boy.

He was taken to an unknown location, Siyam said.

An Israeli police spokesman did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
