May 27, 2013 8:26 P.M. (Updated: May 28, 2013 10:21 P.M.)
JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Settlers slashed the tires of 15 Palestinian cars in East Jerusalem early Monday, locals said.

Residents in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem told Ma'an that they were surprised to wake up this morning and find their tires punctured.

The vehicles were parked on a main road and belonged to the Hamdan, Mizrao, Ishtayya and Ramadi families.

Another car owner, Muhammad ash-Sheikh, said that the residents checked footage from a security camera which showed settlers vandalizing the vehicles.

It is the fifth incident of its kind to happen recently in the neighborhood.
