7 hurt in car crash in Hebron

HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Seven members of the same family were injured in a car clash on Friday at the Wadi al-Jouz junction east of Hebron.

Two of them were critically wounded while the others were lightly to moderately injured, medics said.

Four Red Crescent ambulances transferred the wounded to al-Ahli hospital in Hebron.

Palestinian Red Crescent Association official Nasser Qabaja told Ma’an that Ali Mohammad al-Rajabi, 10, and Aya Ahmad al-Rajabi, 19, were critically injured.

Ahmad al-Rajabi, 31, Hamdi al-Rajabi, 27, Sabrin al-Rajabi, 16, Rawan Ahmad al-Rajabi, 10, and Wardeh Ahmad al-Rajabi, 13 were moderately wounded.

Police opened an investigation.
