Clashes erupt at checkpoint south of Nablus

NABLUS (Ma’an) -- Clashes erupted between Israeli forces and dozens of Palestinian protesters on Thursday on Jerusalem road near Huwwara checkpoint south of Nablus.

Locals told Ma’an that young men shut down Jerusalem street with burning tires and threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at Israeli soldiers who fired tear gas and stun grenades.

There were no immediate reports of injury or damage.
