Feb. 28, 2013 7:50 P.M. (Updated: Feb. 28, 2013 7:50 P.M.)
TULKAREM (Ma’an) – Palestinian police on Thursday stopped a school mini bus transferring a double load of school children in Tulkarem, officials said.

Police department representatives told Ma’an that these small buses can only transfer 16 kids and the one in question was loaded with 31 children and a teacher.

In a statement, police said school buses will be checked because "what happened today is a total danger and a big risk."

The statement added that police welcome information from parents about transportation.
