JENIN (Ma'an) -- Gunmen in Jenin opened fire at a vehicle belonging to a member of the Preventative Security services on Saturday, the governor of the district said.

Talal Dweikat told Ma'an that gunmen fired 15 times at the vehicle, which was parked in front of the officer's home.

No injuries were reported and security services are investigating the incident.

The gunmen aimed to create chaos and undermine the law, Dweikat added.
