Feb. 21, 2013 2:59 P.M. (Updated: Feb. 22, 2013 8:49 P.M.)
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Gaza's Interior Ministry on Thursday released 35 prisoners for good behavior, halfway through their sentences.

Hamas Minister of Justice Attallah Abu al-Sabah attended a ceremony to mark the prisoners' release.

"I'm glad to see young people who have returned to repentance and freedom and I hope to see these guests in heroic situations and not in the way of drugs," the minister said.

On Wednesday, the Hamas government in Gaza released 50 prisoners who had served at least two-thirds of their sentence in rehabilitation centers.
