Israel issues order to seize 120 dunams of Yatta land

Feb. 19, 2013 10:26 A.M. (Updated: Feb. 19, 2013 7:12 P.M.)
HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Monday issued orders to seize 120 dunams of land in an area near Yatta, a local official said.

Coordinator of the popular committee against settlements in Yatta, Rateb al-Jbour, told Ma'an that Israeli authorities want to seize Hussein Ahmad Hamamdeh's land on the pretext that it is located near an Israeli settlement outpost, Mitzpe Yair.

Israel plans to remove all Palestinians from the area east of Yatta, he added.
