Israeli forces detain man at Hebron gas station

Feb. 17, 2013 7:26 P.M. (Updated: Feb. 18, 2013 2:45 P.M.)
HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man at a gas station in Hebron town Sair on Sunday evening, and the army said he was wanted for stone-throwing.

Riyad Sami Jardat, 27, was working at the gas station when special forces raided the location, taking files and CCTV footage and arresting him, locals said.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said he was wanted on suspicion of "hurling rocks at an Israeli civilian."
