Feb. 14, 2013 11:00 P.M. (Updated: Feb. 15, 2013 5:18 P.M.)
GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Palestinian activists held a Valentine's Day vigil on Thursday to support prisoners jailed in Israel and the detainees on hunger strike.

The group gathered in the city carrying roses and banners of support for Palestinian prisoners.

One of the activists, Rihab Kanaan, told Ma'an: "On this international day of love, we hope that the world will wake up and realize the reality and suffering of prisoners and their families."
