Woman loses unborn baby in Gaza road accident

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A pregnant woman lost her unborn child on Saturday after being hit by a car in Gaza City, locals said.

The unidentified pregnant woman and her father were hit by a car as they crossed the street in a Gaza City neighborhood, causing severe injuries to the woman's skull, foot and stomach, and causing her to suffer a miscarriage.

Her father suffered serious head wounds, and both were taken to Shifa hosptial for treatment.
